DROMEC is strengthening its long-standing cooperation with Scheepsherstellingen Moordtgat through the delivery of a double anchor winch of the type ECA-5500-3kB. This winch system is equipped with two anchor wire drums combined with a rope drum. With this development, DROMEC provides a reliable and powerful system that fully meets the vessel’s technical requirements.

Compact design for a complex deck layout

Due to the limited distance between the hawse holes, a standard solution was not sufficient. Therefore, DROMEC developed a compact, vessel-specific design featuring both anchor wire drums combined with a rope drum on the starboard side.

For Moordtgat, this new design saves space and optimizes line handling and maximum operational safety. DROMEC translates this complex installation situation into a functional and efficient winch system.
